Managing General Agent GMI Insurance (GMI) announced today the appointment of ShawnMichael Hall Sr. as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Revenue Officer of the company. Kelly Kelly is joining GMI as Administrative Manager. Together, they will be responsible for growing GMI’s product offerings to include Workers’ Comp as well as other specialty programs.

Prior to Shawn’s his appointment at GMI, Hall served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director of Workers’ Compensation/Regional VP at Breckenridge Insurance. In 2018, his three-person team was selected by Business Insurance magazine as the “Top Wholesale Team in Industry for Workers’ Compensation”.

Prior to joining GMI, Kelly Kelly was an Associate Broker at Breckenridge Insurance. She brings a proven track record in client and vendor management, market analysis, auditing, and communication planning. “I am very excited about this opportunity to work with Shawn in building new programs and bringing my years of wholesale experience to GMI.”
Outgoing GMI Insurance Chief Operating Officer Karen Trudel says, ”I’ve known Shawn for over ten years and look forward to working closely with him and Kelly as I transition to a more market-facing role.”
