Pennsylvania rules workers’ comp must reimburse for medical marijuana costs.

A recent ruling by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court states that employers must reimburse employees for the cost of medical marijuana treatments under workers’ compensation laws. The court concluded that medical marijuana is deemed a legitimate medical expense and is therefore covered by workers’ compensation laws and applies to all employers in the state.
